Rivet Wars: Armies! Table Top Rules
Here is a link to Rivet Wars: Armies! This is a beta release. Early in development but we think it’s pretty fun and the plan has always been to release this often with new updates and to grow the system.
We will guide the development based on these goals:
-Give players a way to play a game with huge numbers of minis
-Allow players to use any of those great custom game tables they have
-Stay true to the feel of Rivet Wars the board game
-Allow players to have fun creating armies before a game starts
-Look for opportunities for players to add customization to units, squads, weapons etc.
We hope you enjoy this. Let us know what you think. This really came about because of all the kickstarter backers and the great community that has grown up around the game. Special thanks to everyone who has helped with this especially Crazyjuan, Tauwolf, Pepe, Pod and Mr. Black. Now get in the fight!
Rivet Wars Painting Competition
Thank you so much for all of your entries for the Rivet Wars Painting Competition. We had 144 entries in total, making this one of the biggest painting competitions on CMON! And the contest with the overall highest quality entries! Great job guys!

As for that one special entry that Ted picked personally, we have this from Ted:
“The entries for the painting contest were amazing. I was blown away to see so many talented artists choose to take part in this Rivet Wars contest. I’d like to thank everyone for adding to the Rivet Wars world through their creativity and hard work. It was difficult to pick only one entry from so many great works.
In the end, the entry by Mananarepublic stood out for several reasons. The details are incredible from the chips on the helmets, the faded symbols to the highlights on the brass. The figures are also clean and yet have a sense of being in the trenches, their equipment worn with use. Plus each soldier is a unique character. There is the grayed panzerfaust who has seen too many winters, the bright eyed allied rifleman, the disgruntled soldier resetting his rocket, and the steeley-eyed lieutenant. These miniatures each tell a story and together form a superb display of artistic skill and craftsmanship.”
Thank you again for all the great entries, until next time!
Rivet Wars talks with the Comic Book Men
Last night I had the chance to talk RIVET WARS with the guys from Kevin Smith’s show Comic Book Men, Mike and Ming. They are the hosts of the “I Sell Comics” podcast on the smodcast network.

It was great to hang out with Mike and Ming again at the Stash. We talked about post-kickstarter happenings, the game being released and future plans for the game. They really helped out with the kickstarter and it was great to return to the show with the game in hand.

Super Robot Punch!
Super Robot Punch was formed to allow us to create the things that we’ve always wanted to make. For years we have collected Japanese robot toys, made art for video games and drawn anything we could dream up. But now, with the emergence of 3D printing we feel like we can finally bring it all together. Now the things we’ve always wanted to make, that we’ve wanted to hold in our hands can really BE. And that’s what it’s all about. Making things. The craft of taking an idea, working it out, sculpting it and then finally placing it on your desk. It’s an amazing time to be creating because the tools at our disposal hold so few limits for us. If we make something we would have loved when we were 7 years old, we’ll know that we have made a good thing.
